Inspired by the inimitable Ms. Isa Chandra Moskowitz's call to arms...

The Milwaukee vegan bake sale for Haiti will take place
from 12-5 PM on Saturday, January 30, 2010
at the Riverwest Co-op,
located at 733 E. Clarke St. (on the corner of Clarke & Fratney).

Both the #10 and #22 bus lines stop nearby.
Here is a map.

100% of the profits will be matched dollar for dollar and donated to the American Red Cross Haiti Relief and Development fund.

Can't come to the bake sale? Donate $10 to Red Cross Haiti relief efforts by texting HAITI to 90999.

If you'd like to donate time, money, or delicious animal-product-free treats (ideas here), please let me know!
**** Baked goodies should be prepared and dropped off at my house the night before the sale;
I can come pick them up if you don't have a car and live near Riverwest/East Side/downtown. ****

I will be pricing/organizing everything on Friday night and setting up the display around 10 or 11AM on Saturday.
If there are any leftovers, they will be sold from 12PM-5PM the next day (Sunday, January 31).

UPDATE: I will be donating an additional $10 to Red Cross per volunteer baker, so dig out your oven mitts and get cookin'!
